Robert Earl Ruffin, Jr. departed this life on Friday, March 12, 2010 of lung cancer at University Hospital. Loving father of Renee M. Johnson, Raina M. Johnson, and Ronada M. Johnson. Stepfather of Shandell Winsberry and Leon Winsberry, III. Grandfather of Shermeka, Demondre, RoKyrah and Terroll. Son of the late Marion P. Monroe and Robert E. Ruffin, Sr. Brother of Ray, Jonathan, Michael, George, Pamela and Joycelyn. Also survived by a host of other relatives and friends. Age: 50 years a native and resident of New Orleans, La. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral service from Davis Mortuary Service, 230 Monroe St., Gretna, La. on Saturday, March 20, 2010 at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m., until service time at the above named parlor.
