Myra Armstrong James departed this life at Ochsner Medical Center on Wednesday, February 16, 2011. Mother of Cora James (Curtis) Williams. Grandmother of Akaijah Jayne Elizabeth James, Klear Essence Williams, and Lance Myron Williams. Sister of Cora Harris Spriggs, John Modeliste, Charles Modeliste, Ernest Modeliste, Jr. , T C Armstrong, Michael Armstrong, Darrell Armstrong, and the late Phyllis Diane Armstrong. Devoted friend of Sister Annie Jack, also survived by a host of other relatives and friends. Age: 48 years a native of Baton Rouge, La. and a resident of Marrero, La. Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of First Holy Temple C.O.G.I.C., New Home Missionary B.C. , Shiloh M.B.C. and neighboring churches are invited to attend the funeral service at Davis Mortuary Service 6820 Westbank Expressway Marrero, La. on Saturday, February 26, 2011 at 10:00a.m. Elder John A.
