Lloyd Joseph Martin, Sr., a retired Longshoreman with ILH Local 3000, passed away on Wednesday, February 8, 2012. Loving father of Cynthia, Donna, Darren and Leslie Martin, Tracy (Berry) Lewis, Joy (Sherdrick) Rankin, Patrick Martin, Jaret (Edmond) Bocage, Tia Martin, Lauren, and Damaris, and the late Lloyd J. Martin, Jr. Son of the late Herbert and Julia Tross Martin. Brother of Herbert, Jr. (Rebbeca), Calvin (Lucille), Gregory (Nona), Anthony (Linda), Reginald (Anita), Darrell, Kenneth (Jo Ann), and Terry Martin, Mary Louis (Shelton) Smith, Herlinda (Alfred) Haywood, Jewell (Nathan) Smith, Richardnell Martin, Brian, Bryant, Yvette, and Sandra Lee and the late Carl, Leonard, and Arnold Martin, Yvonne Hebert and Byron Lee. Former husband of Mary Stroder and the late Carolyn Goins Martin. Nephew of Audrey Jackson and George Martin. Devoted friend of Trolean Tolliver; also survived by 14 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousin, other relatives and friends. Age: 71 years a native and resident of New Orleans, La. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Davis Mortuary Service, 230 Monroe St. Gretna, La. on Thursday, February 16, 2012 at 10:00a.m. Rev. Philip H.
