Albert Peterson departed this life on Tuesday, November 23, 2010. He was a 1969 graduate of West Jefferson High School and a former employee of IC Electrical Company. His greatest accomplishment was serving the Lord as an active member of Regular Baptist Church for over fifty years. Albert was a sweet and caring man who was loved by family and friends alike. Former husband of Cheryl Francois. Son of the late Andrew and Leotha P. Peterson. Brother of Joseph (Ethel) Peterson, Sr. and the late Leotha Peterson and Andrew Peterson, Jr. Brother-in-law of Mary Peterson. Uncle of Ernest C. (Stephanie) Peterson, Joseph (Donice) Peterson, Jr., Lisa P. Charles, Dana L. Peterson, Gaynelle P. (Theron) Lawry. Great uncle of Brittny L. Charles, Muchell A. Charles, Brandon Lawry, Joseph R. Peterson, Braxton A. Peterson, Javon Russell, Eric Cooper, Ernest Peterson, Jr., and Suquella Peterson. Great- great uncle of Breland A. Charles; also survived by a host of other relatives and friends. Age: 59 years a native of New Orleans, La. and a resident of Gretna, La. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Regular Baptist Church are invited to attend the funeral service at Regular Baptist Church, 901 5th St., Gretna, La. on Saturday, December 4, 2010 at 10:00a.m. Pastor Toy Hodge-officiating Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the above named church.
