Doris Mae Richardson Eskinde, a retired training supervisor at Metropolitan Developmental Center entered into eternal rest on Friday, August 10, 2012 at Canon Hospice. Wife of Herbert Eskinde, Sr. Mother of Gwendolyn Eskinde (Joseph), Troy Eskinde, and the late Herbert Joseph Eskinde, Jr. Grandmother of Ashley Patterson. Great grandmother of LaBrandon Petes. Daughter of the late Joseph Richardson and Loretta Landry Richardson. Sister of Wilbert Richardson, also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Age: 69 years a native and a resident of Gretna, La. Relatives and friends of the family, co-workers of Metropolitan Developmental Center, Good Will Industries, Gulf Coast Social Services, and Former Avondale Shipyard are invited to attend the funeral service at Davis Mortuary Service 230 Monroe St. Gretna, La. on Friday August 17, 2012 at 9:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 8:00a.m. until service time at the above named parlor.
