Moses McCaleb, an employee of Champion Carpenters Union, departed this life on Friday, May 13, 2011 due to a massive heart attack. Beloved son of the late James and Eliza McCaleb. Grandson of the late Lula and Eddie Rice, Sr. Devoted brother of Winifred Bax Whitley, Johnnie G. Thibodeaux, Hezzie McCaleb and the late Sylvester McCaleb, Sr. Former companion of the late Patricia Griffin. Loving uncle of Sylvester, Jr., Sonjia, Nicole, Sharon, Ricky, Vonda, Aisha, Reno, Eliza, Hezzie, Jr., and Brandon. Also survived by a host of great nieces, great nephews, cousins, in-laws, co-workers and friends. Age: 57 years a native and resident of New Orleans, La. Relatives and friends of the family, also employees of Champion Carpenters Union are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Davis Mortuary Service, 230 Monroe St. Gretna, La. on Saturday, May 21, 2011 at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the above named parlor.
