Sylvester Mclain Mitchell

Sylvester Mclain Mitchell accepted his wings to heaven on Sunday, March 25, 2012. Son of the late Horace Mitchell, Sr. and Almeta Mitchell. Brother of Horace, Jr., Edward (Judy), John (Rose), Bryan (Elaine), Kirk, and Betty Mitchell, Sherrlyn (Paul) Mundy and the late Tyrone Mitchell. Devoted friend of Margie Henry, also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Sylvester was a graduate of West Jefferson High School. He was employed by Schwegmanns Super Market for many years and retired from Jefferson Parish Water Department. Age: 57 years a native of New Orleans, La. and Bridge City, La. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral service at Davis Mortuary Service 6820 Westbank Expressway Marrero, La. on Thursday, April 5, 2012 at 11:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 9:00a.m. until service time at the above named parlor.
