Dixie Anthony Williams

Dixie A. Williams, a retired supervisor with Jefferson Parish Community Action Dorothy B. Watson Center, departed this life on Thursday, April 12, 2012. Beloved daughter of the late Percy Anthony and Annie Hart Anthony. Devoted and loving mother of Sidney Williams and the late Darryl Lynn Williams. She was also a mother figure and instrumental in the rearing of Joyce and Michael Bailey. Devoted grandmother of Gytonnea Walker, Nigel Washington and Juvon Adams. Great-grandmother of Moriah Walker , Jordan Walker, Myla Walker and Tyler Washington. Sister of Althea Anthony and the late Johnny Will Anthony, Hubert Anthony and Harold Abram. Former wife of Donald Williams; also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousin, other relatives and friends. Age: 77 years. A native of Columbia, Ms. and a resident of Marrero, La. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers and members of Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church and all neighboring churches; employees of Jefferson Parish Community Action Centers, Jefferson Parish Public Works Drainage Department and Entergy are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church, 1000 Walkertown Way Marrero, La. on Thursday, April 19, 2012 at 10:00a.m. Pastor Thomas J.
