Billie Barnes Woodfox, a retired employee of the Jefferson Parish Clerk of Court, departed this life on Thursday, November 22, 2012 at 12:12a.m. Beloved wife of the late Donald Woodfox. Loving mother of Gina Garrison and Penny Williams. Devoted grandmother of Kyle Edwards, Javani Garrison, Janai Garrison and Therald Williams . Daughter of the late Harry Theodore Barnes and Angelon Davis Barnes. Sister of Kim Jakes and the late Bobbie Lewis. Mother-in-law of Joseph Garrison. Sister-in-law of Jamezetta Carter and Raymond Woodfox ; also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Age: 74 years a native of New Orleans, La. and a resident of Jefferson Parish. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers and members of Mount Hermon Baptist Church and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Mount Hermon Baptist Church, 3512 Highway 90 Avondale, La. on Wednesday, November 28, 2012 at 10:00a.m. Dr. Sean T. Elder, officiating Visitation will begin at 8:00a.m.-10:00a.m. ONLY at the above named church. Interment: Restlawn Park Cemetery- Avondale, La.
