Diane (Dide) Elizabeth Edmond Hines departed this life on Thursday March 15, 2012 at Ochsner Medical Center Westbank. Wife of the late L. G. Hines. Loving mother of Charlene(Parker Chappel), Theresa Hines, Bobbie Hines, Lenard (Andrea) Hines, of Dallas, Tx., Vanessa Hines-Ross (Charlie). Stepmother of Lee, Larry, Keith, Sammy, Sadie, Carolyn, Darrel, and Denise Hines. Adopted mother of DeSavian Hines, Lynnisha and Quindeshia Hornsby. Daughter of the late Raymond and Sainttena Edmond. Sister of Alberta (Johnnie) Henderson, Evelyn (Curtis) Thomas, Sainttena (Lucine) Young, Yvonne Edmond, Raymond ( Cynthia) Edmond, of Al., Joseph ( Michelle) Edmond, Bernard and Louis Edmond and the late Betty Edmond and Paula Crawford. Niece of Rene and Murphy Antoine. Sister in law of the late James Crawford. Godmother of Dwayne Marrero, Mary Shaw, Carl Jones, and Angela Frank, also survived by a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Age: 64 years a native of New Orleans, La. and a resident of Harvey, La. Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of Sunrise Baptist Church and neighboring churches are invited to attend the funeral service at Sunrise Baptist Church 1325 LeBouef St. Gretna, La. on Saturday, March 24, 2012 at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the above named church.
