Jacinta Yvette Jay Scovell went home to be with the Lord at Ochsner Medical Center Westbank on Friday, February 4, 2011. Daughter of the late Geneva and Warren Scovell, Sr. Sister of Warren T. Scovell, Lucrecia Johnson, Shederick Scovell, and Shirnette Wilson, and the late Elma Jean Bush and Warren Scovell, Jr., also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Age: 49 years a native and resident of New Orleans, La. Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of St. Joseph Helping Hands Church and neighboring churches are invited to attend the funeral service at Davis Mortuary Service 230 Monroe St. Gretna, La. on Friday February 18, 2011 at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the above named parlor.
