Wilbert Ray Wilson, worked as a ship and pipe fitter entered into eternal rest on Saturday, February 12, 2011 at his residence. Husband of the late Patricia Ann Wilson. Father of Gelon Patrice, HaWann Lanika Wilson, and Tiffany Wilson-Brown. Father in law of Edmund L. Brown, Jr. Grandfather of Edmund Xavier, Malik, Tyler, Xaiden Xechariah, and Zinleigh Patricia. Son of the late Ethel Coleman and Herman Wilson. Brother of Betty Morton, Twila Richardson, Eric (Wanda), Herman (Thais) Wilson, and LaConia Therrio and the late Anthony and Norman Wilson. Nephew of Shirley Cyprian. Brother in law of Sylvia B. Hurst, Rosalie Johnson, Joyce Wilson, Julius (Eunice), Chester (Iris) Boudoin, and Samuel (Sandra) Black, Jr., also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, other family members and countless friends. Age: 61 years a native of New Orleans, La. and a resident of Marrero, La. Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of Second Zion Baptist Church and neighboring churches. Employees of OPSB-IT, Divers Supply, Woldenberg Village Nursing Home in Algiers, La., LSU Medical Center Oncology Dept. are invited to attend the funeral service at Second Zion Baptist Church 6520 Second Zion Ave. Marrero, La. on Friday, February 18, 2011 at 10:00a.m. Elder James Nelson Brown officiating Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the above named church.
