Donald Douglas Bates departed this life on Friday January 29, 2010 at his residence. Loving husband of Carolyn Bates. Father of Setrick (Rita) Johnson and Clarissa (Brandon) Watson. Grandfather of Braylen, Taylor, Raegan, Ashleigh, Elijah, and Aaliyah. Son of the late Earnestine Bates and Jessie Thompson. Brother of Doris Wilkins, Linda Bates " Jackson, Brenda Wilkins, Yolanda Bates, Beverly Kitchen, Glenn Bates, Timmy Bates, and Jerry Bates. Brother in law of Lance Wilkins, Mark Jackson, Matthew Wilkins, Michael Kitchen, Vivian Bates, Shawanda Bates, and Adrian Bates. Nephew of Nell Winford, also survived by a host of other relatives and friends. Age: 53 years a native of Midnight, Ms. and a resident of Harvey, La.
