Tyrone Jenkins, Sr., a former employee of Jefferson Parish Sewerage and Water Department and Black Men United died at his residence on Friday, May 4, 2012 at 12:35p.m. Father of Tyrone Jenkins, Jr., Tiera and Tyisha Gains. Son of Nelson Narcisse and Gertie Jenkins-Smith. Stepson of Earl Smith, Jr. Brother of Rev. Stanley Dubois, Carlton Jenkins, Cynthia Dubois, Dorothy (Warren) Carey, Zina Jenkins and the late Joseph Dubois, III and his twin Jerome Jenkins. Grandson of Idell Narcisse and the late Dorothy M. Jennings and Walter Jenkins, Sr. Nephew of the late Walter Jenkins, Jr. Phillip Jenkins and Beverly Turner. Uncle of the late Steve Blair, Jr.; also survived by 8 grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends. Age: 56 years a native of New Orleans, La. and a resident of Marrero, La.
