Thurman L. Gilmore, Sr. departed this life on Sunday, January 29, 2012 at West Jefferson Health Care. Beloved husband of Shelia Louise Paynes Gilmore. Loving father of Nicole, Nicolas, and Thurman Gilmore, Jr. (Sheila Cole Gilmore) and Shalita Gilmore (Shelia Louis Paynes Gilmore). Stepfather of Kendra Paynes Revader and Rhinell Paynes. Brother of Ernest, Jack, Joe, Olivia, Carol, Debra, and the late Lorraine Gilmore, also survived by 12 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Age: 59 years a native of Hazelhurst, Ms. and a resident of Harvey, La. Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of Vineyard Ministries and neighboring churches are invited to attend the funeral service at Vineyard Ministries 1524 4th St. Westwego, La. on Saturday, February 4, 2012 at 10:00a.m. Elder David Hollins pastor / Elder Elton Walker officiating Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the above named church.
