Freddie Mae Magee entered Heavens entrance through its shining gates on Thursday, December 30, 2010 at her residence. Beloved wife of the late Sammie Magee, Sr. Loving mother of Rhonda Magee Mullins, Linda Magee, Angel Magee (Bertrand) Hilaire, Sammie Magee, Jr., all of Marrero, La. and Sylvia (Daniel) Tircuit of Garland, Tx. Daughter of the late Joseph Athanase and Violet Johnson. Sister of Polar Bowen, Arthur (Rita) Johnson and Donald Johnson both of Marrero, La., Ervin Mickell of Atlanta, Ga., and the late James Lewis. Sister-in-law of Hazel Fearence of McComb, Ms.; also survived by 8 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, 2 godchildren and a host of nephews, nieces other relatives and friends. Age: 70 years a native of New Orleans, La. and a resident of Marrero, La. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Little Zion Missionary Baptist Church #3, Regular B.C., Mt. Sinai B.C. and all neighboring churches. Employees of The Shop (Formally Simply Marvelous Beauty & Salon), Charity Hospital, Hotel Dieu, Touro Hospital, Serenity Hospice Services and Staff, River Oaks Management, GE Oil & Gas Company and TLC Home Health Agency are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Little Zion Missionary Baptist Church #3, 441 Wilson St., Marrero, La., on Saturday, January 8, 2011 at 10:00a.m. Pastor Norman D. Smith-officiating Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the above named church. Interment: Restlawn Cemetery-Avondale, La.
