Augusta Arlie entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, February 15, 2012, at Bayside Healthcare Center in Gretna, La. Beloved daughter of the late Augusta Armstead Gaines and Rogers Arlie. Cousin of Audrey Armstead Royster and Alice Armstead Walker. Cousin-in-law of Geraldine Frazier Armstead. Great cousin of Alicia Bacchus, Phyllis Payne, Richard Armstead, Jr., Yolanda Haines, Karen St. Juniors, Kevin Armstead, Dana Royster, Brian Royster, and Cherie Bassett. Godmother and great great cousin of Kirk Bacchus and Calverase Bacchus, III; also survived by a host of other great-great cousins, in-laws and friends. Age: 82 years a native and resident of New Orleans, La. Relatives and friends of the family, also priest and parishioners of St. Mary of the Angels Catholic Church and neighboring churches are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary of the Angels Catholic Church, 3501 N.
