Marilyn Harris Broden

Marilyn H. (Bro) Broden entered into eternal rest on Monday, February 6, 2012 at Ochsner Hospital. Loving wife of the late William Broden. Mother of Wanda Davis, Tanya (Roshell) Wilson, Glynis (Eric) Bailey, Davalius (Melissa) Broden. Daughter of the late Walter and Mellinee Harris. Sister of Alfred (Shirley) Harris, Sr., Robert Harris, Kenneth Harris and the late Bruce B. Harris, also survived by 11 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relative and friends. Age: 70 years a native of New Orleans, La. and a resident of Avondale, La. Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church and neighboring churches. Employees of Ochsner Hospital, Banner Chevrolet, K-Mart, and SIL of Franklinton, La. are invited to attend the funeral service at Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church 1419 4th St. Westwego, La. on Saturday, February 11, 2012 at 10:00a.m. Rev. Woodrow Hayden officiating Visitation will begin at 8:00a.m. until service time at the above named church. Interment : Restlawn Park Cemetery-Avondale, La.
