Carolyn Poston departed this life on Saturday, February 18, 2012 at the home of her mother. Mother of Terrilyn Howard and the late Percy Howard, Jr. Grandmother of Terrishan Howard, JaHara Hobb, and Joshans Hobb. Daughter of Estella Davis Poston and the late Robert Lee Poston. Granddaughter of the late Joe and Estella Davis and Williams and Pinkie Shephard. Sister of Marilyn (Johnny) Scott of Harvey, La. and Sandra (Solomon, Jr.) Knoten of Marrero, La., Edward Lewis, Sherman and Ryan Poston of Harvey, La. Aunt of Sheconda (Harry) Goudy, Starnisha Knoten, Andria Lewis, Jermaine (Neka) Scott, and Rashard Lewis, also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends. Age: 56 years a native of New Orleans, La. and a resident of Harvey, La. Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of New Jerusalem Baptist Church and neighboring churches are invited to attend the funeral service at New Jerusalem Baptist Church 414 Westwego Ave. Bridge City, La. on Friday February 24, 2012 at 10:00a.m. Rev. George Davis officiating Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the above named church. Interment: Restlawn Park Cemetery-Avondale, La.
