Nolan Johnson

Nolan Johnson entered into eternal rest in Heaven on Wednesday, August 15, 2012. Beloved husband of the late Dorothy Walker-Johnson. Father of Noreen (Steven) Lambert, Jomarie (Pastor Robert) Stewart (Liferight Upreach Ministry), Pamela Carter, and Linda C. Jackson. Preceded in death by his son, grandson, parents, brothers, and sister in law, also survived by 9 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, 2 godchildren, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Age: 91 years a native of Thibodaux, La. and a resident of Marrero, La. for over 50 years. Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of Morning Star Baptist Church and neighboring churches are invited to attend the homegoing celebration at Morning Star Baptist Church 1000 Walkertown Way Marrero, La. on Monday, August 20, 2012 at 10:00a.m. Rev. Thomas J. Brown officiating Visitation will begin at 8:00a.m. until service time at the above named church. Interment: Restlawn Park Cemetery-Avondale, La.
