Mae Ellen Mealancon, a homemaker responded to a call to glory to be with her savior Jesus Christ on Thursday, January 26, 2012 at Canon Hospice. Mother of Linda Davis, Leon Mealancon, Melissa Mealancon, Shantrell Mealancon, Micheal Mealancon, Paul Mealancon, Joseph Mealancon, Nancy Mealancon, and the late Melvin Pierre. Daughter of Mae EllenTurner and the late L B Turner. Granddaughter of the late Joe and Stella Davis. Sister of James Turner (Mary), Thomas Turner, Wilbert Turner, Gail Turner (Charles), Lawrence Johnson (Joyce), Christopher Williams, and Angel Bickham, also survived by 19 grandchildren and host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Age: 60 years a native of St. Joseph, La. and a resident of New Orleans, La. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral service at Davis Mortuary Service 6820 Westbank Expressway Marrero, La. on Friday, February 3, 2012 at 10:00a.m. Rev.
