Rosemary Shirley Gabriel, a retired cook of Schwegmann Supermarkets, departed this life at 9:30a.m., on Sunday, September 23, 2012 at her daughters residence in Harvey, La. Beloved wife of the late Galvin Gabriel, Sr. Devoted mother of Galvin Gabriel, Jr., Merika Green, Sashara Gabriel, Arceneaux Gabriel and the late Lateaud Gabriel. Daughter of the late Robert and Lucinda Goins. Sister of Bernadean Washington. Mother-in-law of the late Erroll Green; also survived by 16 grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren, other relatives and friends. Age: 78 years a native of New Orleans, La. and a resident of Marrero, La. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Davis Mortuary Service, 6820 Westbank Expressway Marrero, La. on Monday, October 1, 2012 at 10:00a.m. Rev. Preston Clark, officiating Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the above named parlor. Interment: Restlawn Park Cemetery- Avondale, La.
