Shirley Ann Chopin departed this life at Wednesday, March 14, 2012 at her residence. Loving wife of Ivory Chopin. Mother of Monique, Ivory (Crystal), and Corey (Chermika). Grandmother of Jayden, Imari, Asad, Koryell, and Braylon. Daughter of Bessie Hamilton and the late Wade Hamilton. Sister of Minister Thomas Mickey (Anna Belle) Hamilton of Houston, Tx., Wade (Judith) Hamilton of Destrehan, La., Jimmie (Giovanni) Hamilton of Hahnville, La., Carolyn (Clarence) Allen of Waggaman, La., Mary (Terry) Pierre of Marrero, La., and Barbara Hamilton of Marrero, La., also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Age: 54 years a native of New Orleans, La. and a resident of Marrero, La. Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of Rock of Ages Baptist Church and neighboring churches are invited to attend the funeral service at Rock of Ages Baptist Church 6533 Acre Rd.
