Janeen Marie Black

Janeen Marie Black peacefully transitioned home to be with her creator on Wednesday, December 15, 2010. She was a graduate of John Ehret Senior High School and Moler Beauty College. Janeen enjoyed her profession as a Cosmetologist. Loving mother of twin boys Jaelon Christopher and Jonathan Michael Harper. Beloved daughter of Walter, Sr. and Joan Marie Black. Sister of Walter Charles Black, Jr. and Michelle Nicole Black-Glover. Sister-in-law of Donald W. Glover, Jr. Aunt of Donald, III and Donovan M. Glover. Granddaughter of Robert and Doris Dixon, Harriet Black and the late Walter Black, Sr. Niece of Cherrie Dixon of Mississippi, Terrance Peter (Carol) Black of Texas, Vachaues Black, Cynthia Keller, Catherine Black, Daisy Brown, Ronnie (Sharon), Robert (Dianne), Marvin, and Kenneth (Dana) Black, and Darwin Dixon all of Louisiana and the late Zachary Black. Goddaughter of Claudia Allen and the late Lathe Edwards; also survived by a host of great aunts, great uncles, cousins other relatives and friends. Age: 42 years a native of New Orleans, La. and a lifelong resident of Marrero, La. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Rock of Ages Baptist Church, 6533 Acre Rd., Marrero, La., on Wednesday, December 22, 2010 at 10:00a.m. Rev.
