Georgia (Nuke) Hill Willis, a retired employee of Belle Chase State School, entered into the Pearlie gates of heaven when Gods angel came and carried her home on Saturday, October 23, 2010 at Canon Hospice. Beloved wife of Eddie Willis. Devoted mother of Keina Willis and Deshawn Willis (Leonard). Grandmother of Dejae (Donya) Earl, Khamon, LeNard, LeShaun and KeMon Willis. Daughter of the late George Hill and Elnora Hillard Hill Eugene. Sister of the late Lola Hill Luther and Gladys Hill Brown. Devoted cousin and sister of Shirley M. Johnson and Rev. Stanley Armstrong. Niece of Joseph Carroll and Constance Carroll and the late Priscilla Davis. Also survived by 3 great grandchildren, 7 nieces, 2 nephews, 3 brothers-in-law and a host of other relatives and friends. Age: 67 years a native of St. Joseph, La. and a resident of Marrero, La. Relatives and friends of the family also, pastors, officers, and members of Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church and neighboring churches. Employees of Metropolitan Developmental Center, FMC Avondale, Ochsner Hospital, Amtrak and Browns and Associate Independent Living, LLC are invited to attend the funeral service at Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church, 1419 4th St., Westwego, La. on Saturday, October 30, 2010 at 10:00a.m. Pastor Woodrow Hayden-officiating Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the above named church.
