Ross (Pumpkin) Jackson, a sanitation worker departed this life on Thursday, May 3, 2012. Father of Ross, Jr., Rossittia, and Robb Isaac. Son of Shirley Rodriquez Jackson and the late Oregon Howard, Jr. Adopted son of the late Fred Jackson, Jr. Grandson of the late Beatrice Lovely, Clarence Rodriquez, Sam Lovely, Sr., Oregon, Sr. and Agnes Howard. Brother of Jeffrey Jackson, Oregon Howard, III, Cynthia and Melissa Jackson, Trenise and Juanita Walker, Kimberly (Manolo) Lopez and the late Lawrence, Fred III, and Gregory Jackson, also survived by a host of other relatives and friends. Age: 46 years a native of New Orleans, La. and a resident of Harvey, La. Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of Second Zion Baptist Church and neighboring churches and are invited to attend the funeral service at Second Zion Baptist Church 6520 Second Zion Ave. Marrero, La. on Saturday, May 12, 2012 at 10:00a.m. Bishop James Nelson Brown officiating Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the above named church.
