Lawrence Bruce Bro, a singer and laborer, departed this life on Thursday, June 2, 2011 at West Jefferson Medical Center of cancer. Beloved husband of Carolyn Bro. Loving father of Lawrence, Jessie, Delaney, Therone, and Kenneth Brue, Keith River, Andrew Guidry, Jr., Ethel Mae McKay, Cathy Thomas, Gelandra Brue, Edna Pike, Tracy Julien, Germaine Collins and Theresa Froulis. Son of the late Guss Bro and Rachael Woodery. Brother of Jack and Cornelius Burke, Warren, Jude and Raynell Woodery, Rose Young, Cynthia Jackson and Raqchel Jyles. Godfather of Leslie Johnson and Catina Burns; also survived by a host of other relatives and friends. Age: 73 years a native of New Orleans, La. and a resident of Westwego, La. for the past 6 years.
