Lawrence (Pema) Jackson, Jr. passed away at his residence in Marrero, La. on Monday, December 13, 2010. Son of the late Lawrence Jackson, Sr. and Alberta Simon. Stepson of the late Earnestine (Manjet) Jackson. Brother of Elouise Jackson Miller, Margaret Flemings, Earnest Mayho, Sanders Shepard and the late Rosiemoe Jackson. Brother-in-law of the late Milton Miller, Sr. Friend of Warren Pierce and Chuck Baker; also survived by a host of other relatives and friends. He was a retired employee of the Labor Union Chapter #23 and Jefferson Parish Parks and Recreation Department. Age: 76 years a native of St. James, La. and a resident of Marrero, La. for the past 40 years. Relatives and friends of the family of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service at St. Luke Baptist Church, 5030 Hwy 18, St. James, La. on Saturday, December 18, 2010 at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 9:00a.m. until service time at the above named church.
