Mildred Clay Boseman passed away on Sunday, December 12, 2010 at St Lukes Medical Center. Devoted and loving wife of the late Alvin Boseman, Sr. for 68 years. Mother of Helen B. (Sammy) Edinburgh, Leona B. (the late Clay) Vaughn, Alvin (Lillian) Boseman, Jr., and Mildred B. Fisher. Devoted grandmother of LaTanya Vaughn. Daughter of the late Rachel Peterson Roy and James Clay. Stepdaughter of the late Manuel Roy. Sister of the late Louise C. Rivers. Niece of Lula Peterson. Devoted aunt of Rachel Charles. Godmother of Rev. Irma Collins and Karen Alexander; also survived by 8 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Age: 84 years a native of New Orleans, La. and a lifelong resident of Algiers, La. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Greater Morning Star B. C., Mt. Sinai B. C., Beautiful Zion B. C., St. Paul B. C. and all neighboring churches; employees of Algiers Navy Exchange, Plaquemines Parish School Board, Dept. Of The Navy, Service Masters, Harrahs Casino, Affinia Hotels Chicago, AT&T (Central-City), and Walgreens are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Greater Morning Star Baptist Church, 1242 Vallette St., New Orleans, La. on Saturday, December 18, 2010 at 10:00a.m. Rev.
