Latasha Latrice Gant departed this earthly home to be with her Heavenly Father on Sunday, August 7, 2011 at 10:15p.m., surrounded by family and friends. Mother of DeOnate Gant and Phillip Hankerson, Jr. Daughter of Joyce Wilson and the late Errol Gant, Sr. Granddaughter of Samuel Gant, Sr., and the late Alberta Gant, Willie Mae Wilson and Ernest Davis. Sister of Errol Jr., Eric, Errol, and the late Aaron Gant. Niece of Rev. Timothy May of Vacaville, Ca., Willie May Draughn, Albert Davis, Alvin (Lana), Brenda, Samuel, Jr., Leslie and Verna Gant, Rosalie Mosley, Lydia (Royal) Phoenix, Annette (Leonard) Green. Antionette Jackson, Jessica (Steve) Douglas and the late Jacqueline May, Christopher and Albert Davis. Great niece of Louis Davis, Sr., Vivian Ellison, Virginia (Willie) McCall, Classie Washington, Isiah and Moses Riley; also survived by a host of other relatives and friends. Age: 36 years a native and resident of New Orleans, La. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Second Baptist Church, Second Nazarine B. C., Asbury Methodist Church and all neighboring churches; employees of AJAR, former employees of NOAH and Metropolitan Dev. Center, Monsanto, Family Health, PCCCF, Durham, English Turn, Canon Hospice, and the O.P. Walker High School class of 93 are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Second Baptist Church, 2836 Sullen Pl. New Orleans, La. on Monday, August 15, 2011 at 10:00a.m. Rev.
