MacArthur Myles entered into eternal rest on Saturday, May 8, 2010 at his residence. Loving husband of 43 years to Joyce Favorite Myles. Son of the late Thomas and Nathlia Stamps Myles. Brother of Emma Brown of Chicago, IL, James (Genola) Myles of Carlisle, MS, Thomas Myles of Port Gibson, MS, and the late Jake, Mayola and Christine Myles. Son-in-law of Vernita R. Favorite and the late Louis Favorite, Sr. and Leola Brown. Devoted brother-in-law of Stella Favorite. Loving cousin of Thelma Jennie Nicholson. Also survived by children, grandchildren, 3 uncles, 4 aunts, 4 brothers-in-law, 6 sisters-in-law, , nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Age 67 a native of Carlilse, MS and a resident of Marrero, LA for over 50 years. Relatives and friends of the family, also Pastors, Officers and Members of Rock of Ages B. C. and Morning Star M. B. C. of Marrero, LA, Shady Grove B. C. of Hermanville, MS. Employees of McDermott Corp., members of Terraborne Begal Club, All Horseman Clubs & Assoc. of Greater New Orleans and Plaquemine Parish Civic Assoc. are invited to attend the wake service at Rock of Ages B. C., 6533 Acre Road Marrero, LA on Friday, May 14, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. - visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. Funeral service on Saturday, May 15, 2010 from Shady Grove M. B.
