Rev. Joseph J. Williams, Sr., an army veteran, retired foreman of the Celotex Corporation, associate minister of St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church and chaplain of Lodge 291 the Pride of Marrero, entered into eternal life on Tuesday, December 6, 2011. He was a graduate of Union Baptist College and Theological Seminary in New Orleans, La. Beloved husband of the late Dorothy Davis Williams. Loving father of Joseph J. (Lillian) Williams, Jr., Frank J. (Linda) Williams, Sr., Abraham L. Williams, Adam C. (Dawn) Williams, Sr., Lois Williams Jones, Palmetta Williams (Jerry) Lee and the late Lawrence E. Williams. Brother of Beatrice Williams Shaw and the late Evelina Williams McCray, Charles, Turner, III, Marcus and Saul Williams. Brother-in-law of Leon Thompson and Lela Williams; also survived by 13 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren a host of other relatives and friends. Age: 86 years a native of Plaquemine, La. and a resident of Marrero, La. for the past 66 years. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Saint Paul Missionary Baptist Church and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Funeral Service at St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church, 1013 Robinson Ave., Marrero, La. on Saturday, December 17, 2011 at 10:00a.m. Dr. Joseph A.
