Slim Brumfield entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, November 17, 2010. Beloved husband of the late Emma Barnes Brumfield. Loving father of Cheryln Walker, Charlie (Dari) Brumfield, Tyrone (Diane) Brumfield, Willie (Redell) Brumfield and Minda (Herbert) McDonald. Stepfather of Pleze (Juanita) Barnes. Son of the late Jesse K. and Minda Gatlin Brumfield. Grandfather of the late Charles and Freddie Brumfield and Pleze Barnes, Jr.; also survived by 6 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild and a host nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. Age: 82 years a native of McComb, Ms. and a resident of New Orleans, La. Relatives and friends of the family and members of the J. B. Steppers are invited to attend the funeral service at Davis Mortuary Service, 230 Monroe St., Gretna, La. on Saturday, November 27, 2010 at 9:00a.m. Rev.
