Urice Thomas Paige, Sr., a painter and contractor for Williams Homes, Inc., was called home to be with the Lord on Thursday, November 17, 2011. Beloved husband of Luvenia A. Paige. Devoted father of Unnisha, Sabrina, Gilda, Urice, Jr., and Lloyd Paige. Stepfather of Shontel Youngblood and Michelle (Keenan) Simms. Son of the Late Mary G. Paige and Sylvester Paige, Sr. Brother of Sylvester, George, Ronald, Graylin (Cassandra), Gerald (Emma) and Terrel Paige, Carolyn Kelson, Wildew (Robert) Hayes, Barbara (Robert) Moore, Mary A. (Craig) Davis and the late Ruby Statom and Jessie Mae Paige. Son-in-law of the late Geraldine Gray. Also survived by 10 grandchildren, 1 godchild, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Age: 61 years a native of White Castle, La. and a resident of New Orleans, La. for 45 years. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Providence Baptist Church, Second Good Shepherd and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Providence Baptist Church, 2311 7th St. New Orleans, La., on Saturday, November 26, 2011 at 10:00a.m. Pastor Lawrence St. Cyre- officiating Visitation will begin at 8:00a.m. until service time at the above named church.
