Willie Ann Dear Haten, a former employee of the Jefferson Parish Juvenile System, departed this life on Tuesday, July 13, 2010 at Ochsner Medical Center Westbank. Beloved wife for 55 years of Robert L. Haten. Loving mother of Dorothy Ann (Rev. John) Brown, Minnie Thompson, Deborah Fleming, Terry Louis (Sharon) Haten, Glen Doria (Darrell) Gaines, Robert Earl Haten, Sr., Shelia Marie (Perry, Sr.) Williams, Patrick ONeal (Tawanda) Haten, Michelle Haten and Fred Neal. Daughter of the late John Leslie and Eola Hudson; also survived by 17 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and neighbors. Age: 73 years a native of Winona, Ms. and a resident of Marrero, La. for 38 years. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members, of St. Mary Missionary Baptist Church and neighboring churches are invited to attend the funeral service at St. Mary Missionary Baptist Church, 6223 6th Ave., Marrero, La. on Saturday, July 24, 2010 at 10:00a.m. Pastor Edward Joseph, III-officiating Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service times at the above named church.
