Augustine Taylor Stevenson, a retired mathematician, departed this life on Thursday, September 22, 2011 at her residence, after a lengthy illness. Loving wife of the late Cleo Clarence Stevenson. Mother of Inger F. Stevenson and the late Greg L. Stevenson (Sharon Roche). Stepmother of Lorraine Stevenson (Floyd, Sr.) Davis. Daughter of the late August Taylor, Sr. and Bessie Cushenberry Taylor; also survived by 11 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Age: 85 years a native of New Orleans, La. and a lifelong resident of Harvey, La. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Evening Star Missionary Baptist Church and all neighboring churches; employees of Jefferson Parish School Board, Woldenberg Village, LaBelle Femmes, West Jefferson Medical Center, Serenity Hospice and Delta Home Health are invited to attend the funeral service at Evening Star Missionary Baptist Church, 817 Grefer Ave. Harvey, La. on Saturday, October 1, 2011 at 11:00a.m. Pastor Keith Paul Stewman-officiating Visitation will begin at 9:00a.m until service time at the above named church.
