Keidrick Armond Shorty, Sr. went to be with our Lord on Sunday, July 3, 2011. Father of Kayjha and Keidrick Shorty, Jr. Beloved son of Maudess S. Watson and the late J. C. Robinson. Stepson of James Watson, Sr. Brother of Benjamin and Tonya Thompson, Michelle (Ralph) Hart, Jaqunna Jackson, Stacey Williams, Timmie Perique, and James Watson, Jr. Devoted friend of Donya King. Godfather of Makhi Brisco, also survived by a host of aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Age: 33 years a native of New Orleans, La. and a resident of Marrero, La. Relatives and friends of the family also pastors, officers, and members of Mt. Calvary, Little Zion, Evening Star, Second St. John, Mt. Hermon, and Regular Baptist Churches. Employees of Simco, SGS Petroleum Service, and West Bank Riders are invited to attend the funeral service at Second Zion Baptist Church 6520 Second Zion Ave. Marrero, La. on Saturday July 9, 2011 at 10:00a.m. Elder James Nelson Brown officiating Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the above named church.
