Eva Burrage entered into eternal life on Wednesday, January 4, 2012 at her residence. Devoted companion of Larry Simmons for 30 years. Loving mother of Trina Richardson and Tommy L. Brown. Daughter of Rose Joseph of Baton Rouge, La. and the late Roy Richardson. Sister of Mary, Joyce Ann and William Richardson, Joyce Ann Robinson, Doris, Ronald, Donald, Charles, and Henry Joseph, John Pine and the late Lorraine Patton, Edward Joseph, Willihemina, Roy, and Irvin Richardson; also survived by 4 stepchildren, 43 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, many foster children and a host of other relatives and friends. Age: 57 years a native of Independence, La. and a resident of Harvey, La. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers and members of First Emmanuel Baptist Church and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the funeral service at First Emmanuel Baptist Church, 1301 Solon St., Gretna, La. on Saturday, January 14, 2012 at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the above named church. Interment: Woodlawn Park Memorial Cemetery- Westwego, La. Arrangements by Davis Mortuary Service 230 Monroe St. Gretna, La.
