Ethel Dea Scott Stewart peacefully entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, June 28, 2011. Wife of the late James Stewart, Sr. Beloved mother of Brenda Stewart Holloway, Alex Stewart, Rose Mary Thomas, and the late Shirley White, Louise Stewart and James Stewart, Jr. Daughter of the late Judge and Elizabeth Scott; also survived by a host of other relatives and friends Age: 83 years a native of New Roads, La. and a resident of Marrero, La. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers and members of Mt. Pilgrim Baptist Church and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the funeral service at Mt. Pilgrim Baptist Church, 2717 Joliet St., New Orleans, La. on Saturday, July 9, 2011 at 10:00a.m. Rev. Roosevelt Malone, Sr. - officiating Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. until service time.
