David Williams departed this life on Wednesday, November 2, 2011 at 3:32p.m., at Ochsner Foundation Hospital. Devoted husband of Barbara E. Williams. Father of Trent Harvey, Troy Harvey, Anessa Harvey of Austin, Tx., and Kenneth Harvey of Manitowoc, Wi. Son of the late Everette Williams, Sr. and Dorothy B. Williams. Brother of Dwight Williams, Theresa McGee, Brenda (Walter) Anderson, Eloise Williams, Jacqueline Diggs, and Pamela Williams and the late Diane and Edward Williams. Nephew of Ethelena Evans. Son-in-law of Esther Morton; also survived by 10 grandchildren, 3 sisters-in-law, 5 brothers-in-law and a host of other relatives and friends. David was an employee of Kirschmans Furniture until his health failed and a deacon at Greater St. John Baptist Church of Barataria, La. Age: 61 years a native of New Orleans, La. and a resident of Harvey, La. Relatives and friends of family, also pastors, officers, and members of Greater St. John Baptist Church and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Greater St. John Baptist Church, 2823 Privateer Blvd. Barataria, La. on Saturday, November 5, 2011 at 10:00a.m. Pastor Harold Clark-officiating Visitation will begin 8:30a.m. until service time at the above named church.
