Eunice Brown Johnson, better known as Ma , was peacefully called by our Lord at Ochsner Medical Center Westbank , on Tuesday, December 20, 2011 at 1:30p.m. Devoted wife of Wilfred Johnson, Sr. for 61 years. Loving mother of Miriam (George) Robinson, Wilfred, Jr. (Betty), Aaron (Joan), Wardell, Kirk, Sr., Steven (Penny), Terrance and Derrick Johnson, Sr., Donna Anderson, Eunice (Jake) Gutierrez, and Melba (Steven) Todle. Grandmother of the late Ashley Hines. Daughter of the late Marguerite and Wilfred Brown, Sr. Sister of Valarie (Raymond) Bailey, Leah (Daniel) Callens, Yvonne (Herman) Vancourt, Supt. Wilfred (Doris) Brown, Jr., and the late Missy Elouise Jones, Reah Rollins, Daisy Ventress, Shirley Brown, Ruth Davis and Elodie Duplessie. Sister in law of Harold Johnson of Seattle, Wa., and Brenette Francois of Lancaster, Ca. ; also survived by 34 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. Age: 80 years a native of New Orleans, La. and a resident of Gretna, La. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Thompson Temple COGIC, Evariste Temple COGIC, Bibleway COGIC, Regular Baptist Church and all neighboring churches; employees of JPSO, Versabar, Newcomb College, and Hummingbird Nursery are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Thompson Temple Church of God in Christ, 1515 Whitney Ave. Gretna, La. on Tuesday, December 27, 2011 at 11:00a.m. Pastor Keith Thornton, host pastor, Supt.
