Bruce Simmons, passed away on Monday, September 10, 2012 at his residence. Loving son of Iola Onezine. Stepson of Joseph Onezine, Sr. Father of Anthony Blalvery. Brother of Debra Walker, Myra Weatherspoon, Laura Simmons, Deirdre Simmons and the late Joseph Onezine, Jr. Also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Age: 52 years a native of New Orleans, La. and a resident of Westwego, La. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers and members of Progressive Church and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Davis Mortuary Service, 6820 Westbank Expressway Marrero, La. on Saturday, September 15, 2012 at 1:00p.m. Pastor Albert Ketchens, officiating.
