James Murphy Williams

James M. Williams, a retired truck driver for Pelican Ice Company, departed this life on Sunday, July 8, 2012 at 7:20p.m. at his residence. Beloved husband of Annie Williams. Loving father of Alvin Stampley, Charlie, Evelyn, Lawrence, Ross, Willie, Melvin, Joseph, and Joyce Brumfield. Brother of L. J. Murphy, Doretha Williams and Ora Jefferson; also survived by 31 grandchildren, 43 great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. Age: 74 years, a native of Yazoo City, Ms. and a resident of Westwego, La. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Davis Mortuary Service, 6820 Westbank Expressway Marrero, La. on Saturday, July 14, 2012 at 10:00a.m. Visitation will begin at 8:30a.m. until service time at the above named parlor.
