Dianta' DeJanae' Snowton

God has called home another angel in Heaven, Diante' DeJanae Snowton, a student at Xavier University Preparatory High School, entered into eternal rest on Monday, January 14, 2013 at Children's Hospital in New Orleans, La. She was the oldest of 6 children, and attended Westbank Cathedral Academy and was a graduate of Concordia Lutheran School in Marrero, La. Loving daughter of Generald, Sr. and Donya Snowton. Devoted sister of Davionne, Danae, Damani, Generald, Jr., and Gavin Snowton. Maternal granddaughter of Irma DeCou Keller (Lester Singleton) and the late Leroy Keller, Sr. Paternal granddaughter of the late Patricia Ann Snowton. Great granddaughter of Lillie Mullen and Melvina Sheppard. Niece of Darnell D. (Thomas Carl) Rousell, Deidra D. ( Hebert) Moore, Denischia DeCou, Devonne (Danny) Lumar, DaShawn D. (Harlan) Cox, Domonique Decou, Deanna (Charles)Holmes, Leroy Keller, Kiwan Grant, Shawn Snowton, Galen Snowton and the late Leroy D. DeCou, Brandon and Lawrence Snowton; also survived by a host of other relatives and friends. Age: 15 years a native of Atlanta, Ga. and a resident of Marrero, La. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers and members of St. Mary Missionary Baptist, Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church and all neighboring churches; staff and students of Xavier University Preparatory High School and Concordia Lutheran School; employees of Jefferson Parish Juvenile Services, Tenaris Hydril, West Jefferson Medical Center, Children's Hospital, U S Coast Guard, McDonald's, Inc., U. S. Postal Service and OrthoSynetics are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church, 1000 Walkertown Way Marrero, La. on Saturday, January 26, 2013 at 10:00a.m. Rev. Thomas J. Brown, Jr., host pastor; Rev. Edward Joseph, III pastor of St. Mary Baptist Church, officiating Visitation will begin at 8:00a.m. until service time at the above named church.
