Elliot A. (Skin) Glapion went to be with the Lord on Friday, January 25, 2013 . Beloved husband for 38 years to Arthemese D. Glapion. Beloved father of Angulique and Alisha Glapion. Stepfather of Antoinette Banks of Ca. Grandfather of Alexis and Jayden Glapion, Amber and Messiah Muhammad. Son of the late Lawrence and Millie Glapion. Brother of Joyce Ware, Brenda Lewis, Lawrence , Jr., Kent, Errol, and Byron (Joann) Glapion and the late Estelle Barriere, Melvin Glapion, and Lynn Ard. Brother in law of Dorothy Glapion, also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Age: 65 years a native and resident of New Orleans, La. Relatives and friends of the family also priest and parishioner of Holy Spirit Catholic Church and neighboring churches. Employees of Orleans Parish School Board and Tulane Medical Center are invited to attend the mass of Christian burial at Holy Spirit Catholic Church 6201 Strafford Place New Orleans, La. on Friday, February 1, 2013 at 10:30a.m. Visitation will begin at 9:30a.m. until service time at the above named church.
