Benita Enola McGinnis Taylor entered into eternal rest on Friday, February 10, 2013 at the age of 91. Wife of the late Melvin Taylor. Mother of Marguerite Robinson, Patricia Johnson (Joseph), Ina Lawrence (Sherman), Joel (Adeline), Gerald, Jonelle and Deidre Taylor. Daughter of the late Rev. Fred McGinnis and Margaret Phillips McGinnis. Sister of Louise McGinnis Washington. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 3 children, 1 grandson, 4 brothers and 1 sister. Relatives and friends of the family; also pastors, officers and members of Oakville Missionary Baptist Church and all neighboring churches; employees of Wal-Mart, Lakewood Golf Course and East Jefferson Hospital are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Oakville Missionary Baptist Church, 100 West Oakville St., Oakville, LA on Saturday, February 16, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. Bishop Wilfret Johnson, Pastor, officiating.
