Colestine Mary Jones Edinburgh

Colestine Mary Jones Edinburgh, age 94, of Walmsley Ave, New Orleans, left us Wednesday, February 27 at her residence. She was the daughter of Emile Jones and Eualalie Jasmine Jones. Of Vacherie. She was raised by her maternal aunt, Louise Jasmine Johnson. She was the co owner of Edinburgh's Beauty and Barber Supply and a former employee of Edinburgh Williams Beauty Salon and St. Mary's Dominican College. Besides her parents and aunt she was preceded in death by one son, Cornelius III, and one daughter, Constance. She is survived by her husband of 74 years, Cornelius Edinburgh, Jr, two brothers Osby and Emile Jones, daughters, Sedia Bazile and Sonia St. Cyr, 6 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. Mass will be held Monday March 4, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Blessed Trinity Catholic Church, 4230 S. Broad St,, New Orleans, LA. Visitation 9:00 a.m. until service time at the Church. Interment Mt.
