Willie Ruth Hampton entered into eternal rest on the early morning of Saturday, March 9, 2013, at the age of 70 in Houston, Texas. Beloved wife of the late Iby Hampton, Sr. Loving mother of Iby Hampton, Jr. and Michael Anthony Hampton both of Marrero, LA and Delisa Ann Hampton of Houston, TX. Grandmother of Iby Hampton III of Dallas, TX, Jasmine Cimone Hampton of CA and Dylyn Rayan Dillon of Houston, TX. Beloved daughter of the late James Douglas and Esther Mae (Downs) Sandifer. Sister of James Douglas "J.D." Sandifer of Marrero, LA, Inell Roberts of New Orleans, LA and Louise Bell of Chicago, IL., also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives ,friends, pastors, officers and members of St. Mary B.C., Fallbrook Church, New Testament Baptist Bible Center and Westbank United S.D.A. and all neighboring churches; Ochsner Hospital, Memorial Hermann Hospital, M.D. Anderson Hospital and the Sarcoma Center; employees of Cole's Home Health Services, Jefferson Parish School System, Jefferson Recreation Department, Aldine Independent School District, The Port of Orleans, Comfort Inn and Suites and their family companies are all invited to attend the Funeral Services at St. Mary Baptist Church, 6223 6th Avenue, Marrero, LA on Saturday, March 16, 2013 a 10:00 a.m. Rev.
