Lilton (Papa Doc) McQuarter II, a former employee of The Army Corps of Engineers, entered into eternal rest from Leukemia (Myelofibrosis) on Wednesday, March 13, 2013 at West Jefferson Medical Center. He was an honor graduate of L. W. Higgins High School Class of 1986 and attended LSU in Baton Rouge, La. Father of Maya Elizabeth McQuarter. Son of Rev. Lilton McQuarter, Sr. and Elizabeth McQuarter. Brother of Denise M. (Terrence) Taylor. Uncle of Terrence, Micheal, and Emmanuel Taylor. Great uncle of Coren Mitchell Louis Taylor. Nephew of Bessie M. Fountain, Mary L. (Ernest) Simon, Ora (John) Thomas, Delores (Charles) Fountain, Annie Barries, Rosa M. McQuarter, Dorothy M. McQuarter , Jack (Louise) Fountain, and Robert Fountain. Also survived by a host of cousins, other relatives and friends. Age 45 years. A native of Woodville, Ms. and a resident of Avondale, La.
