Eddy Mae Petty Landry

Eddy Mae Petty Landry, age 75, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, March 14, 2013 at her daughter's residence. Loving mother of Lawrence III (Stella), Tyrone, Sr., Lelia (Aaron) and Darrell. Daughter of the late Gladys Wright and Melvin Petty. Sister of Rosalyn White and David Wright; stepsister of Jackie. Niece of Lavada and Joyce Anderson. Godmother of Patricia Brooks Brown and LaShae Aguillard. Devoted companion of O'Neal Butler. One great grandchild and her daughter-in-law Cynthia Landry Burkhalter preceded her in death. Also survived by her former husband Lawrence Landry; former companion Harold Simmons; 14 grandchildren, 14 great- grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. A native of Crown Point, La. and a resident of Gretna, La. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers and members of Regular Baptist Church and all neighboring churches; employees of UMRH, Home Depot (Harahan), TJ Maxx (Gretna), St. Joseph Hospice and Lafon Nursing Home are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Regular Baptist Church, 901 Fifth St. Gretna, La. on Thursday, March 21, 2013 at 10:00a.m. Pastor Toy A.
